Worst habit: The incessant tapping out of the rhythms that are going on in my head. I'm always tapping my feet or hands to the song in my head.
Confession: I am so tempted to be not like Jesus when I am in the car. I get really irritated with slow drivers. The left lane is for fast people, the right lane for slow. Get over already!
Favorite food: Pizza. After five years as a youth minister I thought I'd never eat pizza again. Now, I crave it! Especially Monical's buffalo chicken pizza and anybody who makes pizza with banana peppers on top. 
Favorite memory: My current favorite happened at Thanksgiving 2011. I was holding Levi and chasing Mathias around his grandparents' house. The three of us were having a blast. Mathias laughed so hard and had so much fun that he literally got sick all over grandma's kitchen.
My hero(es): My wife. She is a constant source of encouragement, strength, and support. She has stuck with me through some pretty crazy stuff. She's given birth to a baby (enough to make every woman a hero as far as I'm concerned). She's not afraid to tell me what I need to hear. She's gentle when I need gentle, but she'll always make sure I know what I need to know.
My greatest love: Jesus. My family. My other great love is Xbox 360, especially games where I get to shoot at things and compete!
If I could have any super power I'd ... fly!
If I could travel back in time I'd ... go back in time to the crucifixion and die with Christ. Then, I'd go back to the moment God starting creating the world. I'd watch, ask a lot of questions and just be amazed.
I'd rather be ... running in the woods or on a long hike with God in some mountainous region.
My bucket list: (1) Run a half marathon in two hours or less, and a marathon four-and-a-half hours or less. (2) Skydive. (3) Be alive when Jesus returns.

If I could have any super power I'd ... have the energy of a child, the body of a young adult, and the wisdom and experience of a senior adult - all at the same time.
If I could travel back in time I'd ... walk with Jesus; witness the signing of the Declaration of Independance; watch the fall of the Berlin wall.
I'd rather be ... traveling just about anywhere, walking on the beach; working in my yard.

Confession: I will eat raw cookie dough if it's in the refrigerator, so I have to bake cookies as soon as I buy the dough.
Favorite food: Chocolate chip cookies, leftover spaghetti (no meatballs), my grandma's chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes, and her cherry pie. Oh, and I really like Skyline Chili (must be the chocolate in the recipe).
Favorite memory: Spending a week with my two best friends at DisneyWorld when I was 16 years old.

If I could have any super power I'd ... be Flash! I'd like to be so speedy I'd have time to spare.
If I could travel back in time I'd ... record every moment I spent with my grandpa. He gave the greatest tours of the Air Force Museum and the State Park Nature Centers. He just knew so much! I wish I could remember it all now. 
I'd rather be ... with my mom, traveling, reading, or wearing cowboy boots.

Worst habit: I am addicted to the $1 Diet Coke drinks at McDonald's and find myself in their drive-thru lane quite often.
Confession: If I am in the McDonald's drive-thru lane for my Diet Coke and it is really long, I will park, run in and buy my drink as fast as possible so I can beat the cars in front of me in the drive-thru lane.
Favorite food: My mom's homemade spaghetti, yum!
Favorite memory: We were scheduled to get married at Kingsway but the day before the wedding the church lost all electricity and we had to make the decision to move it to another church - on the day of the wedding. It was awesome!
My hero(es): My dad is probably one of my biggest heroes just because of who he is. He is a wonderful man and someone I am very proud to call my father.
My greatest love: My husband is my best friend and greatest love.  He knows just how to make me laugh, build me up, challenge me in new ways and even push my buttons just to aggravate me for fun.
If I could have any super power I'd ... fly. How awesome would it be to just fly over everything and sit at the top of a tree just because you could!
If I could travel back in time I'd ... go back to when David and I were just little kids so I could better prepare myself for the mayhem coming our way someday when we become parents.

My hero(es): My husband, my parents, several good friends that have walked the Christian journey with me.  They are priceless!

If I could have any super power I'd ...I'd like to make things miraculously fine for friends and loved ones when they are going through a rough patch in life.  (Whoosh!  You are all better again!)
If I could travel back in time I'd ... talk to "me" at a younger age.  I have very few regrets in life, but there are a FEW things I'd tell the young Connie NOT to do!
I'd rather be ... visiting Great Smoky Mountains National Park in southeastern Tennessee.  Any time of year, any kind of weather.  It is my favorite place on earth!
My bucket list: 1)  Travel to some yet-unseen parts of the USA. 2)  Write the great American novel. 3)  Portray Annie Kinsella in a remake of "The Field of Dreams." 4)  Attend a World Series game in which the Chicago Cubs are playing.  Hah!

Favorite memory: Most of my favorite things are simple things. Several weeks ago I drove out to my friend's farm for the afternoon to play with the kids and spend the afternoon getting the opportunity to relax. I remember holding one of my little buddies and thinking that it would be so great to stop time. I was in my favorite place with my favorite people and I just felt so blessed and loved.

Worst habit: I have to shut the closet door in the bedroom before going to sleep. I think it traces back to fears I had as a small kid of monsters living in the closet.
Confession: I've never used the drive up window at the bank. I have no idea how to use the mysterious air tubes that take your deposits in and out of the bank. I'm afraid I will somehow mess it up.
Favorite food: Calzones at The Tomato Head in Knoxville. If you've not had one there, then you've not truly lived!
Favorite memory: When Scott first said he loved me while we were slow dancing to Dave Barnes music under the stars on a warm Arizona night.
My hero(es): Baking soda. I've recently discovered this is one of the most powerful ingredients and cleaners in my kitchen. Thank you Arm and Hammer!

Worst habit: I'm a nail biter. There, I said it! I'm trying to quit and doing well so far.
Confession: I'm a dreamer. It's much easier for me to think about long-range plans than nearby ones.

If I could have any super power I'd ... have the faith Jesus possessed; the faith to know when to speak heaing and when to keep walking to the next destination. 
If I could travel back in time I'd ... walk the earth with Jesus, no doubt!
I'd rather be ... snow skiing with my wife.
My bucket list: (1) Take a trip to Italy with my wife. (2) Hunt elk in the mountains somewhere. (3) Take an Alaskan fishing trip. (4) Record some of the songs I've written that matter most to God's heart and using them to bring healing or to help stir souls to action for his mission.

Worst habit: Chewing gum and trying to talk or sing. You get the idea.
Confession: Speed prayers. I have a bad habit of knowing the fact that he knows my heart. I just have to slow down once in a while.
Favorite food: Gnocchi - anything Italian
My greatest love: My God, my lovely wife and my awesome sons, in that order.
I'd rather be ... racing. I love the sport and wish I had the time (and also the blessing from my wife) to let me drive a "real" race car. I guess I'll be racing online only. I can't get killed playing a video game.
My bucket list: (1) Run sound for a large venue. (2) Race at least one race in a real race car. (3) Check out my ancestors' homelands: Sweden, Denmark and Norway. (4) Go on a month-long cruise.

Worst habit: I don't know if it's my worst habit, but leaving cabinet doors open drives my husband crazy.

Favorite memory: The many summers I spent at our cabin in Southern Missouri with the girls and Joe. We had no TV, radio or other stuff to busy ourselves with. We just spent time with each other.
