2:42 groups are based upon Acts 2:42 which says:

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper), and to prayer.

2:42 Groups are designed for those high school students who desire to grow deeper in their faith.  These groups will spend time in Bible study, prayer, and getting to know one another on a personal level. Groups of guys/girls will be led by an adult leader of the same gender. Students who desire to be a part of a 2:42 group must commit to the following:

• Be present and on time each week
• Be prepared, having done any expected reading/assignments for that week
• Be an active participant in discussion and spiritual growth
• Be respectful of your leadership and others in the group
• Pray for one another
• Be held accountable in their journey of faith
