After I register, what's next?

I still have questions, who can I email or talk to?

What is Move?

Move is a five-day high-school-only event held on college campuses across the country. Move desires to help students take their relationship with God to the next level. Keep reading to find out what you will experience at a week at Move.

What to Expect:

Encounter Quiet Time:  Time for you to speak to God one-on-one. Adults and teens meet in the auditorium with their Bibles and then disperse to various parts of the campus for approximately 25-30 minutes. Specific Bible passages and devotional thoughts pertaining to the topic of the day are provided.

D-Group:  Group of 8-12 teens that meets daily for Bible study, discussion and fellowship; centered around the topic of the day. Churches will lead their own teens in D-groups to help facilitate small group ministry and accountability.

The Next Level: Morning Bible study, led by a Bible college professor, for all graduated seniors and adults not leading a D-group.

Evening Session: Evening filled with worship and dynamic speakers along with a time for decisions.

Youth Group Time: Time for your group to discuss the day’s events and to draw closer as a youth group.

The Alternative: This is a free time activity on the afternoon of Day 3 to showcase your talents and hang out with friends. Your talents can be anything from singing to poetry to ballet, etc.

Now that I've registered what's next?

  • Forms and Remaining Balance Reminder - Beginning in April, all forms will be emailed to you along with a reminder of what your remaining balance is for the trip. Both the forms and remaining balance must be turned in by Sunday, May 6. If your student does not have a Kingsway Medical Release form on file, we will need you to fill out one in order for him/her to go on the trip. You can mail in these forms and your remaining balance to the address found below, drop them off at the church office, or turn them in at the Student Connection Center. The remaining balance can also be paid online.
  • Roommate Selection - At any time in the registration process, students/parents can make roommate requests. We ask for you to provide us with your top two choices since we may have 2 or 3 person rooms. You can email your request to Sarah Kenworthy.
  • Packing List and Final Details - These final items will be posted up on the website and sent out via email to parents and students by the end of May. Back to the top.
