Summer in the Son is the week-long conference that Kingsway's 7th- and 8th-Grade Ministry attends each summer. The conference takes place on Kentucky Christian University's campus in Grayson, Kentucky. This trip is open to all incoming 7th and 8th graders and takes place July 8-13, 2012.

Registration Details
When: You can register from Sunday, February 5 until Sunday, May 6. Where: At the Student Connection Center, church office and online How: Fill out a SITS registration card and pay a $50 non-refundable deposit Cost: $260 per student if you register between February 5-12, $300 per student if you register after February 12.
If your family is in need of additional financial assistance, please fill out our Scholarship Application and turn it in by February 12. The remaining balance will be due by June 3, 2012. You can pay your balance at the church office or online. If your son/daughter drops out of the trip after May 6, full payment will still be expected unless we can find a student to replace his/her spot. Back to the top.
Now that I've registered what's next?
- Forms and Remaining Balance Reminder - Beginning in April, we will send you all needed forms (see below) and a reminder of what your remaining balance is for the trip. You can drop these items off at the church office, at the Student Connection Center, or mail them in to Sarah Kenworthy at the address found below:

- SITS Medical Release Form (you do not have to provide your SSN# on this form) - SITS Code of Conduct (this requires a parent and student signature) - Kingsway Medical Release Form - Front and back copy of an insurance card providing coverage for your student
- Roommate Selection - In June, we will send parents an email with a list of students registered for SITS. Parents and students can then go through the list together to make roommate selections. Reply to the email with your student's top two roommate preferences. We try as best as we can to always put students with at least one of their friends.
