Orphan Ministry

Orphan Ministry Boy SmilingOrphan Ministry Purpose

Kingsway Orphan Ministry promotes and supports the adoption of and outreach programs to the orphaned children of the world by offering seminars, Bible studies, information sharing, personal counseling, mission trips and practical help. The primary purpose of the ministry is to place orphaned children into Christian homes where they will know the love of a caring family and Jesus Christ. The Kingsway Orphan Ministry does not serve as an adoption agency but rather a resource to those interested in supporting the spiritual and physical well-being of children.

God's Command
"Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans." (James 1:27a)

God's Heart
"But You, O God ... are the helper of the fatherless." (Psalm 10:14)

Our Inheritance
"His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave Him great pleasure." (Ephesians 1:5)

The Need

Globally there are tens of millions of orphans. One third to one half of those children can be legally adopted. Prostitution, homelessness, incarceration and suicide affect the lives of the vast majority of the children who grow up as orphans and never find permanent, loving homes. For the full and harmonious development of his or her personality, studies show a child should grow up in a family environment - in an atmosphere of happiness, love and understanding.
